“I too have learned foreign languages and live in a foreign country. I know exactly what it feels like when no one understands you. It can be embarrassment, shame, or even fear. But rest assured, it is possible to overcome all of this with patience, practice, and passion. I have achieved it myself.
The issue is not your accent in French, or even your lack of vocabulary, but your confidence. And all of that can be worked on. When I speak in Spanish, I have an Andalusian and French accent, and people tell me it’s cute. Don’t focus so much on your accent but on your pronunciation!
I am a very positive and cheerful teacher. I like to be dynamic and enthusiastic in my classes. I love finding new activities and improving in my work to help my students progress. I often say that my work is only possible thanks to my students, who encourage me to give my best.
I work with you; we set your goals together, and with my methodology, I guide you towards success.”
“Whether it’s DELF preparation classes or conversation workshops, I expect commitment from both myself and you. I use the flipped classroom methodology with the CANVAS platform. You work independently for about 30 minutes to 1 hour per week, completing exercises that I send in advance (listening and reading comprehension, grammar exercises, written or oral productions). On my part, I correct the exercises for the next class, and we review them during our sessions. This methodology is particularly effective for DELF preparation since it requires regular practice to be well-prepared for different parts of the exam.
I understand that not everyone has the time for a 2-hour French class in their schedule. That’s why I propose this methodology that allows you to get ahead. You will be an active participant in your learning. This means that if you don’t work, we won’t progress! In any case, I adapt to your pace and am always there to encourage you to give your best.
For conversation workshops, the methodology is exactly the same. By familiarizing yourself with vocabulary and grammar points, you can use them during the conversation workshop. Each week, we will work on a new theme. At the end of each workshop, you can also complete written assignments to practice writing if you wish.
Each of my students has a personal space where I provide all the information for the class. If you want to learn more about this methodology, you can schedule a free 15-minute consultation with me.”
